What changed in ManyChat’s pricing in March 2026
On March 2, 2026, ManyChat replaced its Free and Pro plans with five tiers priced by active contacts: the unique people who interact with your automations in a billing month. The Free plan went from 1,000 contacts to 25 a month. The paid tiers, as of September 2026:
- Essential: $17 a month, or $14 a month billed yearly, for 250 active contacts
- Pro: $39 a month, or $29 billed yearly, for 2,500 active contacts
- Business: $99 a month, or $69 billed yearly, for 7,500 active contacts
- Advanced: $199 a month, or $139 billed yearly, for 25,000 active contacts
Every contact above the allowance is billed on top: $0.10 each on Essential, $0.05 on Pro, $0.025 on Business and $0.004 on Advanced, at monthly-billing rates.
In practice, 25 free contacts means one post with 30 keyword comments already uses up the Free plan for the month. And because a contact counts once per month whether they received one DM or ten, the bill follows your reach, not your effort.
