Why agencies use Instagram automation
A typical agency may manage:
- 5, 10, or 20 Instagram accounts
- Several Facebook Pages
- Different client campaigns
- Different lead magnets
- Different products and offers
- Different automation rules per client
Without automation, every comment and DM on every client account is another manual task for your team, usually at the worst possible time: right after a client’s post takes off.
A common agency workflow
A client launches a Reel:
Comment GUIDE and we’ll send it to you.
The agency creates the automation once:
- Comment
- DM
- Guide
- Lead
From then on the workflow runs automatically for that client’s account. Duplicate it for the next campaign, change the keyword and the link, and it is live in a minute.
What agencies can automate
Comment-to-DM
Respond to configured keyword comments with a private DM, on posts and Reels. See the comment-to-DM guide.
DM automation
Handle repetitive incoming conversations with keyword auto-replies or AI.
Story replies
Turn Story engagement into conversations and leads.
Lead capture
Collect emails inside the DM and export them per client, or forward them to the client’s CRM through webhooks.
AI conversations
Give each client account its own one-line instruction so replies match that brand’s voice.
Link tracking
Measure clicks on the links delivered through each automation, per account, so reporting to clients takes minutes.
Managing multiple client accounts
Komently counts accounts as a single combined total across Instagram and Facebook. Pro includes five connected accounts in any mix, extra slots are available as an add-on, and Enterprise removes the cap. Each account has its own automations, contacts, and analytics, so nothing from one client leaks into another’s reporting.
Clients connect through Meta’s official login flow, which means the person who administers their Instagram account or Facebook Page authorizes the connection. Nobody shares passwords, and access can be revoked from their Meta settings at any time. Details are in the account limits help article.

White-label and Enterprise workflows
For larger agencies and organizations with specialized requirements, Komently offers an Enterprise plan with everything in Pro plus:
- Unlimited accounts
- Team collaboration
- White-label option
- Custom automation workflows
- API access
- Dedicated account manager
- Priority SLA support
Agency requirements vary a lot, so the Enterprise plan is priced per setup. Email hello@komently.com with your account count, workflow, and branding needs and the Komently team will come back with a proposal.
What to know before you commit
- Team seats and roles are Enterprise features. On Pro, the workspace is a single login; if several people at your agency need their own access, talk to us about Enterprise.
- Clients must authorize the connection themselves (or give you admin access to their Facebook Page or Instagram account). That is a Meta requirement, not a Komently one.
- Only Instagram and Facebook. If a client needs WhatsApp, Telegram, or TikTok automation, Komently is not the tool for that part. See the ManyChat comparison.
- Automation cannot cold-DM. Every workflow starts from a comment, Story reply, or message the person sent first.
