Languages & multi-language automations

Use Komently in your language, and send your audience messages in the language you choose per automation.

Komently speaks your language — the whole dashboard, landing pages, and sign-in are available in English, German (Deutsch), Spanish (Español), Japanese (日本語), Simplified Chinese (中文), Greek (Ελληνικά), and Arabic (العربية), including full right-to-left layout for Arabic. Better still, each automation remembers the language it was built in, so the messages your audience receives are in that language too — not just the app you see.

Change your app language

  1. 1

    Open the language switcher

Click the globe icon — it's in the top navigation on the landing pages and in the sidebar once you're signed in. You'll also find it under Settings → Account → Preferences.
  2. 2

    Pick a language

Choose from the list. The interface switches instantly and remembers your choice on this device.

Your choice is remembered

Komently saves your language in this browser, and first-time visitors are matched to their browser language automatically. Missing translations always fall back to English, so you never see a blank label.

How automation language works

Every automation has its own Audience language — the language your followers receive messages in. You choose it right in the automation builder (the content step), with a simple dropdown. It defaults to your current app language, but you can set it per automation — so your dashboard language and your audience's language stay independent. The final Review step shows it, and every automation in your list carries a small 🌐 language badge so you can tell at a glance.

The Audience language drives everything the automation generates and sends:

  • AI Autofill — suggested keywords, DM messages, and comment replies are written in that language.
  • AI replies — when AI replies are on, the AI responds to your audience in that language.
  • Built-in prompts — the buttons, follow-to-unlock, and email-capture messages your audience receives (see below).

What your audience receives

The messages people get are localized too — not only your own text, but Komently's built-in prompts: the “Send me the access” button and CTA, the follow-to-unlock prompts, and the email-capture questions (including the retry and skip messages) all arrive in the automation's language.

Test it in the Simulator

Open the Test Simulator, load the automation, and send a test comment or DM. The replies — including the buttons and email prompts — appear in the automation's language, exactly as your audience will see them. (The simulator's own labels follow your app language, which can differ.)

Changing an automation's language

Open the automation, go to the content step, pick a different Audience language from the dropdown, and save. That's it — you don't need to change your dashboard language at all. From then on, AI Autofill and the built-in audience prompts use the new language.

Your existing message text isn't auto-translated

Changing the Audience language switches the built-in prompts (buttons, follow & email messages) right away, but your own DM and comment text stays as you wrote it. To rewrite it in the new language, re-run AI Autofill or edit those fields yourself before saving.
