Public replies on busy posts
Why Komently paces public comment replies on viral posts — and how to reply to more comments safely.
When a post takes off, Komently keeps answering — but it posts public replies at a natural pace, and only up to a daily number per post. DMs are never limited this way: everyone who comments your keyword still gets the DM.
Why replies are paced
Hundreds of near-identical replies appearing under one post within minutes is the clearest sign of automation Instagram looks for. Accounts that do it can have commenting blocked for a day or longer — and then every reply stops, not just a few. Pacing keeps your account safe so your automation keeps working.
How many replies
- Comment → DM: up to 100 public replies per post a day. The DM goes to everyone.
- Comment reply with 3 or more reply versions (or AI variations): up to 300 per post a day.
- Comment reply with one or two reply texts: up to 30 per post a day.
Replies go out about one a minute per post. On a very busy post, later replies can appear a little after the comment — that's the pacing working. The count resets 24 hours after the first reply on that post.
Reply to more comments
Add reply versions
Open the automation, and under Comment Reply click Add another version. With three or more different texts, Komently can reply to up to 300 comments per post a day — varied replies look natural, so it's safe to post more of them.Is something wrong?
No. If your automation card shows a note like “12 over busy-post limit”, those comments arrived after the post reached its daily public-reply limit. For comment → DM automations they still received your DM. Nothing needs fixing — and if you'd like to reply to more, add reply versions as above.
